The
fitment of a wheelchair lift into an existing stepwell arrangement
has always been the ideal position due to only one entrance/exit
being required. Unfortunately this is rarely possible because
of space for fitment and achieving sufficient travel into
the vehicle.
 The
fitment of the PLS Saddle can
overcome these obstacles.
The
saddle is fixed into position behind the stepwell and the
lift cassette located into it.
This allows the cassette box to glide in and out of the step
arrangement prior to the lift deploying. The combination of
saddle and compact lift (As slim as 155mm is achievable) can
be fitted to many step arrangements complete with a front
cover, which gives a superb quality finish.
